Meeting the Sutton Dynamo team:
Super 8 Studios met with one of the teams members from Sutton Dynamo. The person we met with was a man called Mark, we met with him at college to exchange identification for a background check on both Sam and I. This was needed as, the team is working with children during this shoot as, it is an under 9's girls football team.

So the identification needed was a huge list of things that we had to choose three of. We opted for passport, provisional licence and bank statement.

Once this was completed Mark quickly spoke to us about what he wanted from us however, due to Marks position in the club he passed us onto Lee who actually deals with the teams in person and we was told he would have more of an idea on what he wanted us to capture.
Planning for the shoot:
The planning for this shoot was actually pretty difficult for Super 8 Studios as, we had a rough idea on what we would want to create however, due to a slight lack of communication between us and Sutton Dynamo we did not really know what they truly wanted us to present in the promotional video.

However, with the little insight they gave us on what they wanted Sam and I got to work at brain storming, we decided to primarily just point and shoot on the day with a single camera on a tri-pod on one side of the pitch with a wide angle lens to capture the whole pitch.

We went with a simple setup as the pitches are not that big and it would cause less of an issue if something was hit whilst the training was going on.

We also decided to take just one on camera mic with us to record what Lee was saying whilst breaking down the training session to the team.

As for roles for the team, we went with me (Elliot) on the free roam camera getting in close to the training session capturing a mixture of shots to mix up the edit and Sam, will be on the tripod capturing from afar.
Emails with Sutton Dynamo:

These are just a few of the first emails that were sent by both Super 8 Studios and Sutton Dynamo, as stated above this was both parties deciding on what times and dates were best for each other.

Sam mostly answered the emails back and forth as, at the time there were a few unforeseen issues for me personally. However, they were persevered and we eventually managed to figure out a date that we could all agree on.

This meeting was the first step to recording as previously stated, this was to sort out getting background checks for both Sam and I and therefore, was vital that we managed to sort out a day with Mark.
